Yin and Yang and whats in between
Duality is a way of nature. Peace and violence, Happiness and sadness ,men and women, victory and failure , black and white, ups and downs, health and disease , good and bad, love and hate and whatever we see ,we experience,we feel and we overcome has two extremes . Two extremes of totally opposite spectrum at their ends, two opposite forces that regulate the daily life.
But it is not just duality. Nature is also the state that's in between. The grey areas which cannot be explained between these two spectrum. The emotions that wander in between in the daily life. The emotions that make us wonder where we belong.
Whenever I ponder about my emotions, my inquisitive mind always questions me whether to fit in somewhere . Where do I belong? Is a very common question I come across everyday and I somehow try to find a place to belong.
Our human environment constantly pushes us to belong somewhere ,to identify ourselves with a tag, to follow the crowd and to make sure that we seek things that are common and prevalent based on our standards. Anything different is deemed un natural .
In contrast to our mind,Nature is more generous and experimental. The thousands of colours in the birds and flowers , the illdefined horizons of our origins, the complete spectrum of life from protozoa to us. Nature always have been random and respectful to every other entity it has or has not created . When we question any deviation from the regular pattern whether it's natural to deviate , it signifies our ignorance .
Being natural is being different. Nature always differs its course during its way and with some randomness added to it, it creates a palette of dimensions that we are still trying to define, analyse and understand.
So, it is acceptable to think otherwise. It is only natural to think otherwise and not by the defined rules and regulations. The nature has duality but it also has its everything in between. We don't have to fit in anywhere exactly ,it is completely fine if we search a place somewhere in this world,if we have thirst to explore our thoughts and ideas.
Respect nature. Respect the ideas. Respect the thoughts. For those different ideas and thoughts will only make us evolve ,make us soulful and make us identify ourselves.
And it is ok if we don't belong anywhere!
"...Nature always differs its course during its way...So, it is acceptable to think otherwise. It is only natural to think otherwise...". It is too good and very well said.
ReplyDeleteSince we forgot that we are nature, we have been constantly trying to find the answer for where we belong to. One should experience the nature within onself, by doing so one will evolve as the Nature does and will get answers to all our emotional quest.
It's very well written Shobi. So true it is..! I am so tired of being forced to follow the crowd at different stages of the life. (Even not by parents but by various people who position themselves as judge for any situation)
ReplyDeleteI am disappointed when we try hard to embrace our different thoughts/actions and still someone interferes our way and say it is wrong.
DeleteTrue Akka .most of us fail to embrace the difference within ourselves, which actually makes everything make sense!
ReplyDeleteI consciously constantly don't want to belong anywhere! I appreciate the feeling as I hardly feel somewhere or anywhere I belong here! It's a gift to be an odd woman out and stand apart and observe all illusions / ego and so called normalcy! Remembering that being ordinary is extraordinary and being simple is the most difficult task! Kudos to us
